A heavy blanket of clouds hang over the Golden Gate promising the rains will return a a few days

The lighthouse across the way waits for dusk to begin to call out

The grey clouds bring out the lush colors as the stair winds up the hill

What a beautiful sunset it would be if more then a few rays could break through

There she sits waiting for the evening glow so she can begin to inspire once again

The tug slides in while the workers rush home

What a view and ride for your way home from work

On the way to the lookout colors stop us in our tracks

The clouds burn

The moon rises for a moment but finds itself insignificant so quietly disappears

Our destination is just a bit futther

Dusk begins to slip slowly into evening

Chen concentrates on the beauty all around

What a magnificent place we live in

At last, the scene we came for before realizing how much more beautiful the wait would be

No words are really needed

So I take what I can when I am out with the kid. Thats forcing me to change my subjects. I have learned a lot of about people photography over the past three years. Here is one of the few nature shots (actually the duck pond in Sonoma Square) that I took and liked. There will probably be more as my subjects continue to switch.

Thanks to the Boston Globe’s “The Big Picture” blog for a) reminding us that we no longer live in a world of small screens & slow connections and b) showing us that good pictures look better enlarged.  This is also the blog also inspired much of the design of Zack 990.

Finally, a big thanks to Pnts for her work on implementing my ideas (and some of hers) as a theme.  Seems like there were many more changes and tweaks then I ever could have imagined when we started off.
